I know meze is supposed to be an ‘alternative’ club but i feel like the dj’s are limited to certain genres, a lot of people i know agree & would like to hear more music that is also considered ‘alternative’ but isn’t just metal/rock/indie. Im under the belief that Meze lounge is aimed at students and wants to be ‘trendy’ but don’t seem to explore the other genres of music that kids today listen to, that isn’t pop. Is Meze limited to play certain songs? because it seems to be the same playlist every time i’ve been. What sort of music licence does the club have?
I would love to help dj’ even if its just for one night, and i think a lot of people would be interested in the music i would play, pretty much all of my friends go to meze but are bored of the music played and will only get excited about going if say jamie swift dj’s or its a special dj set.

i bet im not the only one who has messaged meze/iffy about the poor music played in meze, i know rosie messaged iffy a few months back but hes an arse and not messaged back. Does he want to be the laughing stock of newport/wales. He would earn so much more money if he just stopped using the same awful playlist every night. & also the meze photos wouldnt be filled up with (no offence) ugly ugly locals. hahaha. its like the hills have eyes party time there.

anyway, ive been a bit pissy the past 2 weeks, happy but still easily irritated ha. I think ive finally figured out at the grand age of 18 that i do not need a male to make me happy. Sure they are great for being sex slaves or making you tea & buying your food etc haha, but i think i really would prefer to have a gossip with my girlfriends. Im really closed & shy even with the closest of friends but i dont think i really tell them enough of how much i appreciate them being there, even if i havent known someone that long im just glad they have had the patience to put up with me haha. I need to be more social & try make more friends, as i do enjoy it but i think ive become a bit of a hermit lately and lost the knack of being nice without being sucky, if that makes sense.
but yeah ramble over. im hinting that i want someone to come bike with me haha.
Tires are pumped and the bike has been WD-40’d so I’ll set off at 4 and be back for 5 as I have a tutor today. Would have liked to have gone for longer but work calls.
